  • Marking the product Out of stock from the orders section

  • How the inventory changes when the order status is updated

  • How the inventory changes when the order is edited

  • How the inventory changes when the order is deleted


Marking the product Out of Stock from the orders section

  • On the all-catalogs screen, tap on the Orders section at the bottom of the screen

  • Open the desired order and then tap on the product that needs to marked as out of stock

  • Tap on the MARK OUT OF STOCK button just below the product picture and the inventory for that product will be updated.


How the inventory changes when the order status is updated


When Track available quantity and Auto reduce quantity is enabled-

  • Nothing happens to the inventory when the order is still in your customer's cart (Unconfirmed order)

  • As soon as the customer confirms their order, the inventory reduces by the number of units ordered

  • Accepting and Completing the order will have no effect on the inventory

  • If you Reject the order, the inventory will be added back

  • After Rejecting an order, if you Accept or Complete it, the inventory will be reduced again.

When Track available quantity is enabled but Auto reduce inventory is disabled-

  • Nothing happens to the inventory when the order is still in your customer's cart (Unconfirmed order)

  • Even when the customer confirms the order, inventory won't be reduced

  • Only when you Accept the order, the inventory will be reduced

  • Rejecting the order won't have any effect on the inventory

  • Completing the order wont reduce the inventory if the order has been Accepted first and then completed. However, if the order is marked completed directly after the order is received or after Rejecting it, the inventory will be reduced.


How the inventory changes when the order is edited

  • Increasing the quantity of a product in the order will reduce the inventory while Reducing the quantity will increase the available stock.


    To do so,

    • Open the desired order

    • Tap on a product for which the quantity needs to be updated

    • Update the inventory by clicking on the + and - buttons against the Quantity



  • Adding products to the orders will reduce the inventory by the number of units added

    To do so,

    • Open the desired order

    • Click on + Add items at the right of Order items

    • Select the catalog and then the product you want to add


  • While Deleting an item from the order, you'll have an option to reduce the inventory or not


    To do so,

    • Open the desired order

    • Click on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen

    • Tap on Delete inquiries

    • Select the products you want to delete

    • Tap on the Delete button at the top right corner

    • If you want to reduce the inventory, select Add back item to inventory. If not, simply click on DELETE


  • While Deleting the order, you'll have an option to reduce the inventory or not

    To do so,

    • Open the desired order

    • Click on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen

    • Tap on Delete order

    • If you want to reduce the inventory, select Add back item in the order to inventory. If not, simply click on DELETE
