1. Find the DNS settings or Domain Management area.
2. Change the following settings:

Point the CNAME record with the name shop to domain.quicksell.co

8. After adding the DNS record, come back to QuickSell and click on Done.

You have successfully connected your sub-domain 🎉

Common mistakes while connecting a domain

1. Having more than one A record -

An A record is the primary DNS record used to connect your domain to an IP address that directs visitors to your website. Having more than one A record might lead to a long wait time for the visitors or totally break sessions. Its recommended deleting any other A record except the one pointed to QuickSell's IP address.

2. Wrong nameserver settings -

Nameservers are your primary DNS controller and changing your nameservers changes where you manage your DNS settings. Correct nameserver settings are critical to making sure your website works correctly.

If your domain provider and hosting provider is the same, it's recommended to use their own nameservers.

In case the domain provider and the hosting provider are different, you should use the hosting provider's nameservers
