How to connect your domain to QuickSell

Since it is important that you continuously promote your personal brand, QuickSell allows you to link your website to your QuickSell catalogues. This post will cover everything that you need to know about the domain functionality.

Accessing the domain settings

You can access the domain settings by

  1. Tap the Options button on the top right hand corner of the All catalogues screen.

  2. Select the Settings option in the Options menu.

  3. Select the View and Edit your company details box in the Settings screen.

  4. Select the Domain option in the Company details screen. This will now open the domain screen. 

Connecting to a ready-made subdomain provided by QuickSell

QuickSell provides you with the ability to create a branded catalog.to subdomain instantly. You can add your own company brand and then share this subdomain link to your customers. In order to do this

  1.  Tap on Set up now in the Catalog.to subdomain box 

  2. Type in your desired subdomain name(Eg: example.catalog.to) and then tap the Done button on the top right hand corner of the subdomain screen.

Connecting your root domain to QuickSell

You can also connect your root domain to QuickSell. This will replace your current website with your QuickSell catalogues. In order to connect your domain,

  1. Tap the Custom website domain box in the domain settings screen.

  2. Ensure that you are on the root domain set up screen. This will have a www. written right in front of the textbox on the Custom website domain screen. 

  3. Enter your domain and then tap Next on the top right hand corner of the screen.

  4. In order to connect to your domain you will need your developer to incorporate a few extra details into your website. You can do so by tapping the Send instructions button as highlighted above and your developer can make the changes accordingly.

  5. Tap Done at the top right of the instructions screen, once your developer has made the required changes the connection should be established shortly.

Connecting your subdomain to QuickSell

If you wish to keep your existing website intact and yet want to incorporate QuickSell into it. You can do so by attaching it to a subdomain within your website. In order to do this,

  1. Tap the Custom website domain box in the domain settings screen.

  2. Ensure that you are on the correct subdomain setup screen domain setting.  You can do so by tapping the text below the box. The correct screen will have the following text below" I want to use my root domain instead".

  3. Enter your subdomain and then tap Next on the top right hand corner of the screen.

  4. In order to connect to your domain you will need your developer to incorporate a few extra details into your website. You can do so by tapping the Send instructions button as highlighted above and your developer can make the changes accordingly.

  5. Tap Done at the top right of the instructions screen, once your developer has made the required changes the connection should be established shortly.

Changing or disconnecting domain name

You can change or disconnect your domain through the domain settings screen. In order to access this screen,

  1. Open the domain screen as highlighted in the Accessing the domain settings section.

  2. Select the domain that you wish to disconnect or change in the Domain management screen. 

  3. You can now disconnect your domain by selecting the Disconnect this domain option from the domain settings options.

  4. You can also change your domain to a different to domain by selecting the Use a different domain 

Quickly sharing your domain across various mediums

You can quickly share across your domain to your customers by 

  1. Tap on the Home button on the top of the All catalogues screen.

  2. You can now preview the how the domain will look if you wish by tapping the preview button as highlighted in the photoset above.

  3. You can now quickly share your domain link across by tapping on any of the various sharing options provided.
