Once you have added your product images into QuickSell, it's important to flesh out all the other relevant details for the product. In order to so you are provided a product details screen.

Accessing the product details screen

  1. Open the desired catalogue

  2. Select the product you wish to add details to

  3. Tap the Edit button on the lower right hand corner. This will open the product details screen. The fields provided here are as mentioned below. (Remember to click the save button on the top of the product details tab to save the data you enter)

  •  (1) Product Title (Enter the title for your product here)

  •  (2) Price (The price section also allows you to set a discount if you wish to do so. Enter the final discounted price and the app will calculate the percentage of the discount for you)

  •  (3) Description (Enter the relevant product details here)

  •  (4) Tags (Tags allow you classify your products according to sets decided by you. In order to create a tag click the Edit button on the right of the tags option)

  •  (5) More pictures (Certain products need multiple images to allow the customer to better assess the product. You can add multiple images to a particular product by clicking the Add button at the bottom of the product details screen)

Managing Inventory

Through the product details screen you can also manage your inventory. In order to access this screen,

  1. Open the desired catalogue

  2. Select the product to which you wish to add inventory details

  3. Tap the Edit button to open the product details tab

  4. Select the Inventory section

  5. Add your note and tap the Save button

The Inventory screen has the following options

1) Stock Availability

This option allows you to quickly manage the availability of stock for your product. All products marked out of stock will have that mentioned when any customer opens the link and views the product. Hence you can select the option that is suitable for your product.

2) Available quantity

You can also auto update your inventory by tapping the Track available quantity button and entering your product count. Whenever an inquiry is placed, the inventory will automatically reduce thus keeping your inventory updated at all times.

3) Out of stock visibility

By default out of stock products are hidden when a customer opens a link. With this option enabled you can allow customers to see products that are out of stock as well. By default this option is enabled across the app. This option is directly controlled in the following order App level -> Catalogue level -> Product level. You can override any parent settings by directly enabling or disabling this option at the product and catalogue level.

4) Allow orders on out of stock

By default customers can not place an order on an out of stock product. When you enable this option, a customer can place an order on an out of stock order as well. This follows the same parent settings functionality as mentioned in the Out of stock visibility section above.

Private Notes

Through Private notes you can store personalised notes for each product. These notes are not visible to any customer who opens your links. Popular uses of these notes are

  1. Reminders on supply related to the product

  2. Customer requests for certain variants

  3. Other SKU data
